How it works
Booking couldn’t be simpler, just click on the book here button and choose a time slot. No experience is necessary. Each session is 1.5 hours long. You will be given training and safety instructions by our Vikings in a friendly and safe environment. After which you’ll get time to practice before pitting your skills against the rest of your group to see who will be crowned The Viking Jarl!
Who can throw?
Pretty much anyone over the age of 16. Throwing axes is a test of skill and technique, not strength. If you’re looking for something unique it’s great for;
Birthdays, Celebrations, Hen and Stag parties, Corporate team building or just letting off some steam!

How much does it cost?
Each session lasts 90 minutes and is £20 per person.
How do I pay?
To keep things simple, we accept payment in advance when you make your booking.
How do I book?
Simply click on our Book Now button. There you can choose a date, timeslot and the number of places you wish to book. You will then be led to a checkout to finalise your booking and pay.
How many can throw at a time?
Each lane has 2 targets and can accommodate 6 people. We have 2 lanes available, so 12 people altogether. If you have a party of more than 12 people, private hire is available.
Can we book for more than 12 people?
Yes, all you need do is book all 12 tickets to secure the place to yourselves. Just let us know the total number of people coming. We suggest a maximum of 20 people to ensure everyone has plenty of time to throw.
What should I wear?
No open toed shoes please. Also, make sure to wear something that will not restrict your arms when throwing.
Can I bring my own axe?
Afraid not, we’ve chosen our axes carefully and want to make sure everyone is on an even playing field.
Is it safe?
Yes, you will receive a safety briefing by our instructors and after that they will stay with you to supervise and give you tips if needed. Think of it along the lines of darts, but much more fun!
Can we drink alcohol before or during the throwing?
No, we enjoy a horn of mead as much as the next Viking, but alcohol and axe throwing do not mix. If you have been drinking or using drugs before the session you will not be allowed near the lanes and your money will not be refunded. Do not show up under the influence!
What if I have to cancel or change my booking?
Tickets are non-refundable, please make sure you can attend before you book. If you wish to reschedule, you must contact us within 1 week of your booking. We will attempt to reschedule your party, but, can offer no guarantees.
Can we take photos or videos?
Yes, absolutely! We want your heroic deeds to live forever! (Just make sure you tag us in them!)
